Hi! My name is Trainee Chua.

Guest: bla..bla..bla..bla....So, I was wondering whether i could access the internet through my laptop in the room?
Me : Hmm.. Im not too sure about that sir. But i'll check up with someone on that. Sorry sir, i'm just a trainee.
Guest: OOHHHH!!!! (looking at my name tag) Ur a trainee?? I thought ur real name was "Trainee". hahaha...Now i get it..
Me : (with a partial genuine smile on face) haha.. No sir, thats not my name.
(while in my head i was thinking: omg-ur-so-f-stupid-how-can-trainee-be-a-name-where-do-u-come-from?? -___-')

And yesterday, I had this HILLARIOUS guest from China. Communication was a huge barrier as her mandarin had heavy China Slang and her English wasnt English at all.! She looked stressed out, her hair was in clumps, sweaty and she was really really messy. I was laughing on the inside when i saw her seeing how unorganized she was. She was flipping through pages and pages from her notebook, circling this and that trying to find the number she wanted to make a call.
-she got the number (at last) and handed over to me.
-i dialled it for her (i have to go through some procedures over here)
-when the line was connected i passed the phone to her and started to write her bill.
-when i looked up, i couldnt help but burst out laughing loudly. It didnt help when my colleague burst out laughing out loud as well. WHY?

She had answered the phone like this...
I tell u, if u were there at that very moment you will realise how funny it was ok?? (its not the same cerita-ing it and actually being there at that very moment) So, my colleague quickly adjusted the phone for her and continued laughing at her. I know its terribly rude to laugh at a guest right in front of them but still...i really tried to contain myself. It didnt help either when i saw my colleague taking a paper to block her face while laughing and dabbing her tears of laughter with a tissue. aiyo...i tell u it was really funny lah.

I really pity and feel sorry for the guest. When she asked us for the time, neither of us answered her because we were still laughing at her.(plus her english sounds funny ok.) We only answered her like 30 seconds later. Feel so guilty man. I must never do that agin next time.

And then later in the afternoon, the China guest came back again to make another call. This time we were ok.(all 'laughed-up') And both my colleague and I were extremely helpful to her because we were SO SUPER guilty for our behaviour earlier. Even more guilty when the guest apologized to us.(it should be the other way round rite?). She said to us, "Soorry I make a joke this morning. I was very rushing" Aww...bless her..

hehe..so these are just little funny/weird insights i go through everyday. Guest with all sorts of antics. I love it!! hahaha..!!
