Anyways, so work started today. I was placed in Front Office-Business Centre. And lemme tell u that its fun-fun-fun!! hehe..
Im quite lucky as well to get a 'kakak' staff that is a 'siao po'. She jokes and talks with me which is good.. YEAY!! I get to SIT around and read magazines when theres no guest. But of course la, when a guest is around, ive gotta try to be 'helpful'..haha..
Practically what i am learning and will do in future is to:
-connect, record, charge and write the bill for guest who uses the phone.. (which i think is freaking expensive and still i dont know why they still wanna use it.. Better use public phone *sigh*)
-issue them their own personal password given by the hotel to them if they wanna use the internet facilities
-become the photostat and printing girl
-confirm flight details for guest if they want to and so on..hehe
So not bad for a start..hehe.. Will be in this section aprox 1 week. :D. Then off i go to conceirge/front desk/operator/reservations.

This was the last F&B service class we had in college before our term break. The theme was 'Buffet". so TADAA.... 
what happens when guests leaves?? We eat pulak la... hehe.. There was lamb(or was it mutton??), pakoras, minestrone soup, buns, fried chicken, wedges and a variety of pastries..
L-R=Wen Hwei, Adeline, EstherC, Sabrina..And then last week we went to Jogoya, the Japanese Buffet at Starhill Gallery. I only went cuz there was a promotion(3 buffets for the price of 2) and everyone seems to be talking bout it. So i gave it a go la..
My conclusion: OKlah.. if ur REALLY into Japanese food.(which im not) Really a wide variety of food both raw and cooked. If u really like those raw fish, raw oysters, raw this and that, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR U. Will i go there again?? Nope. Maybe in a few years time and ONLY if they have a promotion again. Cuz if not, its really really really expensive. (Even with the promotion, its ****** expensive)
This didnt go well with my stomach that night..hehe.. But at least i tried la right?? Its raw salmon and tuna fish btw..Thats all.. !! ADIEU!!
