ku....'meow'.....ching..

wow! yea i know my blog is being left to rot..hehe.. but ive been rather busy these few WEEKS really. Came back from Sarawak, hung out with my sis whose back from NZ, parents came over to KL, busy with our college event.. so yea.. bz bz bz.. hehe..

Anyways, this post shall continue where i last left it..

The 2 West Malaysian's getaway to Sarawak..hehe..

So, actually a few days before we left to Kuching, Sabby's dad was kind enough to plan a trip down to Bintulu-the oil town. One thing i dont like about it?? The journey to Bintulu from Sibu..!! Omg!! its like a horseride. Potholes, uneven roads, winding..etc..etc.. Sabby's dad said "East Malaysians are so kind that they give their money to West Malaysians for development till they forget about themselves"-hahaha!!
Thw nice thing about the journey?? All along the way, there are longhouses and u can see families of the long houses doing their daily routines at the common varendah of the houses.. Something u dont get to see in West Malaysia at all.

We stayed in a really really nice beach hotel condominium..

This is one of the biggest attraction in Bintulu. Its where the name 'oil town' came from. Its the Petronas Liquified Natural Gas(LNG) plant. Currently one of the biggest in the world on a single site. There are several erm... 'poles' (i dont take engineering, so bare with my terms..hehe) which has got fire on it which is produced by natural gas and it never goes out.. I think this can also be found on the way to Terengganu but of course the Terengganu one is at least 100 times smaller.. :D.. Im serious.. Bintulu's one is THAT BIG..

There is nothing much in Bintulu really except for that oil thingy. Next morning, before we head back, stopped by at the Taman Tumbina Bintulu. (tumbuhan + binatang = tumbina -_-)

We met the famous icon of Sarawak-the hornbill

KUCHING

The other person that joined us only in Kuching-Erlyta!! -hahaha-

We stayed at Damai Beach Resort in Santubong for 1 night and later headed on to Kuching City at stayed in Riverside Majestic Hotel for a couple of nights :D

To those of you who have been to damai knows that theres nothing much to do in the resort at night-its too far from Kuching City and its too dangerous to get down to the beach.. So, we just walked around the resort and meddle with their faciltities lorrr...hahaha..

Look at Sabby... so 'terror'

Camwhoring in the room is a norm :D

Damai Beach

The three souls lost in the middle of the South China Sea..hehe..

This place is one of the must visit if in Sarawak..

While waiting for the Cultural Show to start. People from TCHT: look at the woman behind us on the right, recognise her?? haha.. yeap.. its that pastry lecturer/chef from Taylors.. Such a small world eh??

Ok, remember this post?? About how i was determined to try out the blowpipe and actually hit a target?? Well i did....
TADAAAA.....

Well, i know the pose its not really like how i said i was gonna pose.. but cannot blame me la.. There were 2 other mat salleh audience watching me..haha..paiseh.. And so this time i did hit sumthing on the board, quite close to bulls eye i might say... compared to last time where it fell among the bushes..hahaha!!!

Quite far leh the target especially for beginner blow pipers like us..hehe..

There are these type of stairs all around the village.. Going up is a breeze but coming down.... OMG!! U just wished u didnt go up.. Some of the steps are just so tiny, even a baby's foot would be too big for the steps.. scary... Take above picture for instance so damn high leh the house.. :(

"Nak ambil gambar boleh, nak ambil saya pulang rumah tak boleh"-was what he told us when we wanted to snap a picture of him..hehe.. cheh-who wanna take back half naked man in loin cloth, tell me??-hahaha!!

Looks nice.. but freaking scary to walk on it.

Kuching City

'Ze FAMOUS CAT MUSEUM" and we saw................

CATS!!!

MORE CATS!!

AND EVEN MORE CATS..-even garfield made it to the museum- hehe..

The Cat Statue Roundabout.. (fyi, im not a big fan of cats..too 'meowy' for me..hahaha!!!)

At the Semenggoh Oran Utan Santuary.. We were not lucky cuz no orang utans came out when it was feeding time despite the crowd being very very quiet..

Next was the Jong's Crocodile farm..

Ah Hwei terrified of the i-duuno-what-big-bird-is-that.. Look at her face lah!!

This was so called their 'flying crocodile show"-tsk tsk..

Only half of Sabby's sibblings :D

So yeah, this pretty covers up my last 2 weeks holiday.. hehe..
